Some people are very independent and purchase a Retirement Apartment for the reassurance of having support 24 hours a day if, or when they need it. Meanwhile, clients with greater care needs can access exactly what they need, when they need it.

The advantages of this model are many. You own your own home, thus you retain your assets; you don’t have to pay to rent; and you only access services such as care, meals, laundry etc when required which substantially reduces the fees you would pay for full time care.

General Manager

Sharon joined the care team at Headingley Hall in June 2003 as Deputy Manager and was promoted to Care Manager, taking on full responsibility for the care delivered to the residents in June 2011. She became the home’s General Manager in October 2012.

Sharon has worked in care homes since leaving school at 17. She started as Care Assistant and rose through the ranks to Senior Care Assistant and Residential Co-ordinator before leaving her first care home to join Headingley Hall. Sharon believes that good communication skills and developing excellent relationships with residents and their families are key to providing outstanding care and support to everyone.
