Hannah Atkinson is Home Manager at Droitwich Mews Care Home.
"I began my journey in the care sector within domiciliary care, where I quickly progressed to a senior role. From there, I moved into care homes, advancing from Senior Care Assistant to Care Manager, Deputy Manager, and ultimately to Care Home Manager.
Since September 2024, I have had the privilege of managing Droitwich Mews. Every day in this role has been deeply fulfilling, thanks to the incredible residents, dedicated staff, supportive families, and enthusiastic volunteers who make this home so special. I was welcomed into the Droitwich Mews family with open arms, and I am committed to maintaining and building upon the high standards of excellence that define our home.
I firmly believe that laughter and happiness are vital to the well-being of everyone in the home. At Droitwich Mews, these qualities shine in abundance, creating a warm and joyful environment for all."
Droitwich Mews Care Home, which opened in 2020, welcomes you! The home happily accommodates couples and companions who wish to remain together as they continue their care journey and make new memories side by side. Come down and meet our friendly Home Manager and the wider team for a cup of tea. Alternatively, call us and we’ll be happy to talk you through the various facilities in our home and discuss your specific care needs.
The team at Droitwich Mews greet residents with a heartwarming smile every day and fills the halls with laughter. Our commitment to forming a close bond with residents and making our care home community feel like a family is why we’re one of the best care homes in Worcestershire.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
