Cwmbran House Care Home is a purpose-built single-storey care home for over 65s in Pontnewydd, Cwmbran. It has 56 bedrooms across three separate living areas, all alongside the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. We focus on giving a great quality of life to our residents, whatever their abilities and needs are.
Our specially trained team provide tailored care to our residents, including residential care and specialist care for those living with physical or mental disabilities and dementia.
We pride ourselves on providing a happy, friendly and warm environment that lets residents be as independent or involved as their needs and wants allow.

We have 56 bedrooms with en-suite facilities, divided into three separate units. Two of the units are suited to physically dependent older people. Each has a lounge, dining area and fully-fitted kitchen. The third unit is a dementia-friendly area that has three small kitchen and dining areas adjoining the bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are bright, airy, comfortable and generously sized. We are very happy for residents to bring some personal possessions with them so that they can make their bedrooms their own. Adapted bathrooms are provided if residents require them, and all rooms are fitted with an assistance call system that can alert our team if needed. |

Every day there is something different for residents to take part in. Regular activities include bingo games, craft sessions, sing-alongs, quiz evenings, read-aloud groups and more.
