Karen is very experienced, highly knowledgeable, and has worked in the industry for many years. She has an open-door policy. Karen is professional, friendly, and puts the residents at the centre of everything.

Located in the picturesque coastal town of Colwyn Bay, Coed Craig offers expert residential and dementia care for up to 45 residents in a tranquil and homely setting. Surrounded by lush gardens and natural beauty, the home provides a calming environment where older individuals can enjoy peace and connection with nature. Designed with comfort in mind, it serves as a welcoming retreat where residents feel both safe and supported.

Within Coed Craig, a strong sense of community flourishes, thanks to a team of dedicated and compassionate carers who place residents’ dignity and wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. The home's warm and respectful atmosphere allows individuals to maintain their independence while receiving attentive, personalised care tailored to their unique needs. This person-centred philosophy fosters fulfilment and purpose in daily life, while ensuring that every resident feels valued and understood.

Activities Are So Important

Our Activities Coordinator schedules regular optional events and activities, helping residents to explore their interests and discover new ones. There is a gardening club, flower arranging, baking, arts and crafts, bingo, quizzes and church services. For residents living with dementia we also offer award-winning music therapy, robotic pets and interactive ‘magic’ tables.

At Coed Craig we have a dedicated chaplain for all pastoral and religious care needs.

We have our own minibus for shopping trips, a visit to the theatre, to spend the day at the beach or simply enjoy a coffee in a local café.
