Meet The Manager

Faye Maycroft is Home Manager at Blythe Rose Care Home.

Hi, my name is Faye and I am the Home Manager at Blythe Rose Care Home.

I am a registered nurse, having qualified in 2009, I also had a brief couple of years as a qualified midwife but I decided that my passion remained in nursing and I have been specialising in older adults nursing for the last 12 years.

My career progressed from nurse in charge, through to deputy manager and then home manager, one of my biggest achievements was working as a team towards a CQC rating of outstanding and maintaining that outstanding rating.

I am very dedicated to my job role and will always strive for the best, enabling residents to live the best life they wish for.

In my spare time, I like gardening, I am a member of a running club and I am kept busy with family life.

Activities Are So Important

Passionate about enriching later lives, we recognise individuality and with wellbeing in mind, offer truly personalised care and living support, within safe, secure, luxurious and welcoming environments, where community – and the enrichment that comes from being part of it – is valued.

Our Gym facilities will be open to those members of the local community aged over 70, as part of our drive to keep people fit and active well into their later years.

Externally the large courtyard will provide an excellent environment for activities and relaxation. Again we hope that this space will be shared with visitors and local people, to become a true community amenity. Taken together these facilities represent a fantastic environment for local people to enjoy and we hope that this will foster a real spirit of camaraderie and togetherness between local people and care home residents and staff.
