Meet The Manager

Silca Morley is Care Home Manager at Beech Tree House.

Silca has been qualified as a nurse in 1991 and has had a varied and rewarding career in the NHS and Private Sector. She has lived in the North East for the last 23 years, building on a wide experience that can be used and adapted to her present role.

Her favourite roles have included being a Community Nurse, night duty in Emergency Admissions unit , Ward Manager at North Tyneside in Elderly Care and rehabilitation, Matron at NSECH in the Hospital to Home team and the last two years as a Home Manager.

All of these roles have helped Silca to realise that caring and learning from the elderly is where her heart is, and the most rewarding. She has always led her teams to practice safe, person centred care and to appreciate everyone has a story.
