Meet The Manager
Rosemond Thomas is Registered Manager at Aegys Smart Care – Live-in Care (Nationwide).
I’m Rosemond Thomas, Registered Manager of Aegys Smart Care and a Registered Nurse with 16 years’ experience in adult social care and acute hospitals, supporting people both in clinical settings and in the community.
I’ve also worked in management roles, recruiting and supervising care staff, supporting healthcare training, completing staff competencies, resolving complaints, and leading on policies, governance, and quality assurance.
As part of District Nursing teams, I have supported services across the UK, including London, South Tyneside, Cornwall, Plymouth, Swindon, and Manchester.
I established Aegys Smart Care to provide safe, dignified, person-centred care that helps clients live well and remain independent at home.
Aegys Smart Care provides high-quality, person-centred live-in care services across the UK, supporting adults and older people to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We understand that every client’s situation is different, so we tailor each live-in care package around individual needs, routines, preferences, and cultural values—ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Travel Care Service (Including Qualified Support)
We also provide a specialist travel companion service for clients who require support when travelling within the UK or abroad. Whether it’s a family trip, essential travel, or a holiday, we can arrange experienced carers and, where needed, access to a qualified nurse to support clinical needs—helping clients and families travel with greater confidence and peace of mind.
