Meet The Manager

Kerry Toulson is Manager at Dudbrook House.

Kerry has worked for the company St Michaels Homes for nearly 30 years, she has worked her way up from carer to senior post to management. She is so caring and down to earth, she really is a kind and wonderful person to know and work with.

We are happy to announce that Dudbrook House is now open and running. Our home that consists of many facilities are ready to welcome new residents to our new cozy home.

Here at Dudbrook house we have two floors that are run as separate care homes, our ground floor (clover hamlet) is tailored for seniors who are looking for residential short- or long-term care. Our First floor (sunflower hamlet) focuses on residents with dementia. We strive to run each floor like individual care homes by having seperate care offices and designated nurses and carers to each floor.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Dudbrook House has regular audits, visits from pharmacists, weekly surgery within the home, trained staff, and the service can provide continuity of care for all their residents.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Our Building and Facilities

Here at Dudbrook we take pride and care of our outdoors, within our facility we have 3 types of gardens. The activity garden which is located south facing the front of the home, here we have a large, raised allotment bed which is wheelchair friendly, and a children’s play area with swing and slides for grandchildren to enjoy along with our home’s chickens.

To the rear of the building, we have our main garden which has a bandstand and beautiful paths.

to walk within the garden. To the upper east side of the home the 1st floor (Sunflower) has direct access onto their own secure sensory garden we are calling it the ‘forget me not’ garden which has a nostalgic London theme with its own black taxi and red telephone box.

Our orangery is one of our biggest visiting lounges. Both residents and visitors can enjoy the vibrancy of the outdoors without having to go outside, our skylight windows maximise the amount of light the room receives, allowing you to enjoy your tea or coffee with a vibrant bounce.
