Activities Are So Important

Here at Cross Lane House we actively offer and encourage our residents to be involved in social activities, either within the home or outside.

We encourage the building of relationships between our clients with many developing friendships that are mutually supportive and last for many years. Often our clients choose to sit with friends and acquaintances; this is actively encouraged.

Continuation of any hobbies/activities is promoted and representatives of all denominations are welcome. The vicar from the local church visits to conduct a church service. We encourage clients’ relatives or friends to take them out because we believe that this assists in remaining involved with their family and the community as a whole.

During times of the local and government elections, postal votes are available and encouraged. We have a coordinator who arranges a wide variety of different activities as chosen by the residents i.e. bingo, crosswords, quizzes etc.
