Cara Randall is Manager at Appleton Lodge Nursing Home.
Cara began her extensive 30+ year care career in 1991 as an NHS nurse. She later specialised in Stoma care as a Territory Manager and Company Stoma Nurse. Cara joined Bradbury House (previously Gavin Astor) nine years ago as a Night Nurse, progressing to Unit Manager. In 2019, she became Suite Manager at the new Appleton Lodge, where she met Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II during the opening ceremony. Promoted to Deputy Manager across both homes in May 2022, she proudly became Home Manager in April this year, bringing her experience, vision, and compassion to the role.
At Appleton Lodge Nursing Home, we provide compassionate, personalised care in a warm and homely environment. Located in the heart of the RBLI Village in Aylesford, Kent, our facility was officially opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 2019. Appleton Lodge recently became part of the Eleanor Healthcare Group, allowing us to enhance our services and continue offering state-of-the-art care for elderly people and those with physical disabilities.
With 15 spacious rooms, each equipped with modern en-suite facilities, our residents enjoy the highest standards of comfort and care. Whether you’re considering care for yourself or a loved one, Appleton Lodge offers a safe, welcoming place where everyone feels like part of the family.
