Meet The Manager

Diane Watson is Registered Manager at Church Farm at Rusticus.

Diane started her nurse training in 1976 in Lincolnshire. After qualifying in 1979, as an SRN, she worked in the hospital, initially as a staff nurse but was quickly promoted to a Sister. She worked on night duty covering surgical units and then was in charge of a medical ward and undertook many new initiatives.

In 1989 Diane moved to the private sector where she has managed many homes, mainly in Lincolnshire and including taking on the role of troubleshooter. She has seen many changes throughout her time regarding healthcare in general including increase of supporting professionals, introduction of technology, care planning, support for employees, improved facilities and accommodation for residents.

It has been her pleasure to know and nurse so many people and work with amazing teams especially during the COVID pandemic. Diane is now enjoying managing Church Farm at Rusticus which is an incredible site and everyday is different but so rewarding.
