Maintenance

I have been working in a Maintenance role for many years and joined Buxton Lodge on 2nd December 2002.

Maintenance incorporates anything from repairing a broken bed rail to total refurbishment of a bedroom, gardening, electrical checks, Legionella checks and everything else to ensure the Home runs safely and smoothly for all concerned.

I really enjoy my role at Buxton Lodge and also the many quiz nights/Summer BBQ’s that we organise for the Residents and their relatives. It’s really good to be involved with everything in Buxton Lodge which makes it feel like a home from home.

Home Administrator

I have been working for Buxton Lodge since 4th January 2016, and I have to say it is an absolute pleasure to work for the Home. I love getting to know all our new and existing Residents, and bringing a smile to their faces!

As Home Administrator you need to have many strings to your bow, answering phone calls, petty cash analysis, Payroll, ordering stationery, dressings and cleaning products, amongst other things! The hours at work fly by.

I like to ensure that when you call us there is always a friendly voice on the other side of the phone and we are looking forward to when we are able to open our doors and greet you all face to face again
