Revathy Jayakumar is Manager at Northcourt Lodge Nursing Home.
I joined this beautiful home in 2007 as a Registered Nurse. Since then, I have been given the opportunity to develop into the Registered Manager where I have remained in post for the past 15 years.
Our commitment to our residents is to deliver high-quality, individual care in a nurturing and engaging environment so that our residents can live happy and truly meaningful lives.
I am passionate in supporting my team to provide outstanding quality care to make a difference and enhance the lives of the individuals, we are privileged to care for.
I understand that choosing a care home for either yourself or a loved one can be a daunting experience which is why our doors are always open inviting you to come and visit us anytime where myself or any one of my team are here to help answer all your questions.
Northcourt Lodge is a boutique, 21-bedroom nursing home nestled in the leafy suburbs of Reading, just a short distance from the town centre.

Our dedicated team receives comprehensive induction training, regular refresher training, and ongoing professional development to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide safe, high-quality care. This includes training in areas such as safeguarding, infection prevention and control, moving and handling, medication management, first aid, and dementia care. We carry out regular risk assessments, health and safety checks, care plan reviews, and quality audits to continually monitor and improve our standards. We also maintain a clean, welcoming environment and work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the right support for their individual needs. Through our commitment to staff development, robust safety procedures, and person-centred approach, we provide a secure and caring home where residents and their families can feel confident and reassured. |
