Lyndsey Dixon is Manager at Brockworth House Care Centre.
Lyndsey Dixon joined the Gloucester home in November 2024 and aims to use the knowledge and experience she has built up in her previous roles, to bring stability and a sense of community to MHA Brockworth House.
Lyndsey has extensive experience of working in social care and has more than 10 years’ experience of managing a nursing home.
Previously she has worked as an oncology nurse, studied for a degree in palliative care and is currently studying a master’s in advanced clinical Practice.
Brockworth is the home of Brockworth House Care Centre – whose residents get fine views of the famous local cheese event from their windows.
It’s a purpose-built two storey nursing home specialising in dementia care, with places for up to 52 residents. The home is set in large grounds that include an enclosed patio area for residents to access safely.

Brockworth House has an Activity Coordinator who produces a calendar of activities as well as providing 1-1 sessions based on individual choices and preferences. These include music sessions, gentle exercises, poetry reading, craft sessions and visits from Pet Therapy dog. The home also has weekly music therapy sessions which greatly benefits our residents with dementia. |
