Rachel Stoneman is Manager at Bridge House Nursing Home.
Rachel studied nursing in Wales qualifying in 2015. Since then, her nursing pathway has taken in varied roles, from the burns ICU in Swansea, to young adults with complex care needs and then acute emergency care in Wexham Park hospital.
A passion for dementia care was ignited when Rachel joined a nurse bank team in a local care home during her acute care role. The inspiration saw Rachel transfer her skills and start working in care home management in 2018.
Rachel joined Bridge House in July 2022 and has made a big impact, especially with residents and their families who adore her. She has an honest, transparent, and respectful leadership style and is passionate about delivering high-quality person-centred care to all the residents who live in the community.
In Rachel’s spare time, she enjoys gardening, running and travelling.
