Meet The Manager
Katy Miller is General Manager at Brendoncare Stildon.
I have almost 20 years of experience in the care sector, starting out as a support worker and progressing to Registered Manager. I bring a wealth of hands-on expertise and leadership to Brendoncare Stildon. My journey has been driven by a deep commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care, fostering team development and ensuring residents live with dignity and purpose.
Having managed diverse services including nursing homes, supported living and reablement services, I am passionate about embracing innovative care practices, while maintaining the values at the heart of Brendoncare. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through regular gym sessions and bike rides, which help me maintain focus and energy in my professional life.
Brendoncare Stildon is a warm, welcoming care home located close to the centre of historic East Grinstead in West Sussex. It provides nursing care for 32 older people in a safe and friendly environment.
Surrounded by attractive mature gardens, Stildon is designed to enable residents to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. The experienced staff offer quality care which is tailored to the individual needs of the residents.
Mealtimes are an important part of the day, so the catering team always discusses the menus with residents to ensure all their tastes and preferences are met.
The wellbeing team organises a range of activities including arts and crafts, seated exercise and also outings to local attractions.
It is run by Brendoncare, a registered charity, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people through its seven care homes and community support services.

There is always lots going on at Stildon. Residents enjoy a range of activities - from talks given by volunteers from East Grinstead Museum to an action-packed session from Kiddleydivey who gets everybody moving along to music. There are also visiting ukulele bands and evenings arranged at Lingfield Park, the local racecourse. |
