Meet The Manager
Florencia Gamino is Care Home Manager at Brackenbridge House.
I am a Registered Nurse who has worked in care for more than twenty years. My qualifications include a Level 4 NVQ in Adult Social Care and further learning in dementia care. I am passionate about offering the best quality of life for people living with dementia, bringing them joy, happiness, and fulfillment.
Brackenbridge House is set in one and half acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, sprinkled with pathways and seating areas. Offering first class care for the over 65s, each resident enjoys an unique, personalised care experience. Conveniently based in South Ruislip, all of London’s sights and sounds are within easy reach, while the Berkshire countryside is just a short drive away.
Visit the home and you’ll find a huge range of facilities on offer, including hairdressing, chiropody, dental/eye care as well as a host of social activities to keep our residents entertained. Of course, the best way to see the superb care and wonderful facilities we offer is to visit for yourself, meet our care team and see why we believe that Brackenbridge is uniquely placed to deliver graceful, caring living.

The wonderful facilities at Brackenbridge make a world of difference to our residents. Whether it’s chatting in the cafe, pottering around the garden or enjoying the peace and quiet of the lounge, there really is a favourite place for everyone. As you’d expect, we work hard to keep our homes clean, comfortable and up to date. We’re constantly looking for new ways to improve our environment, but above all - we will always ensure our homes remains ‘homely’. Our outside areas include beautiful flower beds, secluded gardens and lawns. The patio areas are all perfectly kept so they’re ideal for a stroll, or to simply relax on a bench and listen to the birds sing. |

Our Activities Co-ordinators play a fundamental part in delivering our mission of enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a fun and hugely varied program for everyone to participate. A great source of fun and laughter, our range of activities really help each resident live their life to the full. Here at Gold Care Homes, we believe independent activity, hobbies and day to day chores boast self confidence. By taking the time to understand each residents capabilities, we’re able to build a personalized activity plan. Our aim is to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible. As you’d expect, most activities are indoors. However, when the weather permits, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens. When our residents are feeling a little adventurous, we also plan nationwide trips to popular landmarks! |
