Karen Rides is Registered Care Manager at Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead.

Karen started her career within the care industry in 2002 as a support worker, caring for people in her local community. She quickly realised she had a passion for caring for others and making a real difference to people’s lives. Through hard work and this genuine passion, Karen progressed quickly and has now gained a vast amount of experience in different areas within the health and social care sector. She has worked as a manager in the NHS and in both residential and domiciliary care across various locations in London. She is a trainer in medication, moving & handling, emergency first aid and dementia and is working towards her QCF level 5 Diploma award in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.

Aga joined Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead in July 2018 as a carer supervisor. She has worked in care for over 12 years, starting as a home care assistant where she continuously learned and developed her skills. She has completed her level 2 and level 3 in health and social care and is currently working towards her level 5 in management and leadership.

With over 17 years’ experience as a carer, trainer, assessor and internal quality assurer for Health and Social Care, Aka's role in Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead is to ensure that our staff are trained and qualified in all areas of the job that they do. She uses her experiences and knowledge whilst working with other local health and social care professionals to ensure our team have the confidence and competence required to complete all tasks in a safe and person-centred way.

Beatrice believes that good care can improve not only the quality of someone's life but also their whole wellbeing. She has seen first-hand the positive impact quality care can have, not just on the customer but the family as well.

Mary has worked in the care sector for over 3 years, starting as a Recruitment and Compliance Administrator. Mary strongly believes that customers should expect high-quality care and be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. As a result, she strives to recruit carers that are engaged and passionate about their role and then support them through their journey with Bluebird Care.

Outside of the working environment, Mary is involved in many volunteer activities, having been a volunteer recruiter for the 2017 World Athletics and Para-athletics Championships. She also enjoys singing and is in a choir.

Nadia started her career in health care when she was 18 years old in her home town in Denmark. At the moment, she is doing an excellent job as a Care Coordinator as she makes sure both our customers and carers meet their needs.

Paola is an experienced Business Administrator, bringing most of her knowledge from time spent working in two well known organisations in her home city, Buenos Aires. She not only brings administration expertise to the Bluebird Care team but she has also worked in HR which equips her perfectly for supporting not only our office team but also our amazing team of carers.

Customer Supervisor

Robyn joined the Bluebird Care team as our customer supervisor in November 2017. It is her responsibility to ensure that all customers are well supported and listened too. She is part of the team that reviews all care plans and ensures the correct and best possible support is being provided at all times. If there are any adjustments required or questions asked, these will be implemented and answered by Robyn and her team.

Robyn has been working in care since March 2014 whilst she was still a 6th form student. She has completed her level 2 and level 3 in health and social care and is currently working towards her level 5 in management and leadership, which she is excited about. Robyn is our youngest member of the team, but she adds a wealth of experience and is a hardworking and kind individual.

Director and Owner

George owns and runs the Camden & Hampstead office. He brings not only relevant experience but also an honest and professional approach to the business.

He recognises that there has been a large increase in the demand for quality and reliable care and believes that care at home is a real and often better alternative to residential homes. George lives in the heart of the Borough of Camden and has a passion, along with his team, to provide the community with the highest level of care.

George has over 10 years management experience along with various qualification, including a BA (Hons) in Marketing.

"I have always wanted to run my own business. Taking inspiration from mum and the knowledge I have gained of the market over the years, I am now extremely happy to be working with such a great and growing care team and running a business in this exciting and important market."
