Meet The Manager

Carol Preston is The Home Manager at The Oaks Care Home.

Carol has worked in Health and Social Care for over 38 years and always knew that she wanted to work in care and make a difference.

She has worked within a number of Care Sectors that specialise in providing care for those with Learning Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health, but her passion has always been the Elderly Care Sector and in particular those living with a Dementia.  She holds a number of relevant Management qualifications and specialist Dementia Qualifications.

She operated at a more senior level for many years, which involved a great deal of extensive travel and staying away from home, she made the decision to step back and use her skills and experience at Home Level and started working at The Oaks in February 2020.
