Renata Sulugiuc is the Home Manager at The Oaks Care Home.
What matters most to me is creating a home where residents feel comfortable, respected and genuinely cared for and where staff feel supported and confident in their roles. I’m passionate about person-centred care, developing strong teams and making meaningful improvements that have a real impact on residents’ daily lives.
Located on Oaks Drive in Colchester, The Oaks offers high-quality, person-centred care for up to 61 older adults, including those requiring residential, nursing or dementia support. The home features attractively furnished bedrooms, welcoming communal areas such as a cinema lounge and dining room, and well-maintained landscaped gardens. Together, these create a comfortable and homely setting where residents can relax, socialise and remain connected to others.
