| What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe | ||
|---|---|---|
|
At Betsy Clara House, the safety and wellbeing of every resident is at the heart of everything we do. Our experienced nursing and care teams provide 24-hour support, delivering personalised care that is tailored to each person's individual needs, preferences and clinical requirements. Every resident benefits from comprehensive assessments and regularly reviewed care plans, ensuring that support evolves as their needs change. Our skilled team works closely with GPs, community healthcare professionals, therapists and families to provide joined-up, person-centred care that promotes both safety and quality of life. Our colleagues receive ongoing training in areas including dementia care, safeguarding, moving and handling, infection prevention and control, medicines management, and recognising deterioration. This enables them to respond promptly to changing needs while maintaining each resident's dignity, independence and choice. We take a proactive approach to risk management, using robust clinical governance, regular audits and continuous quality monitoring to help identify opportunities for improvement and maintain high standards of care. Our home is designed to provide a comfortable, secure and supportive environment where residents can feel safe, respected and valued. Above all, we believe that feeling safe is about more than clinical care. It is about building trusting relationships, treating every resident with kindness and compassion, and creating a warm, welcoming home where families have confidence that their loved one is receiving the highest standard of support possible. |

| Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
