Bilgy Joseph is Home Manager at Hillside.
Bilgy is a dedicated registered nurse with over 15 years of experience working within NHS and the nursing home sector, and for the past 8 years, has been part of the Hillside team. Bilgy has extensive experience in managing complex medical conditions and work closely with a range of health care professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
Bilgy is passionate about delivering person-centred care and fostering a supportive, safe and welcoming environment for both residents and staff.

We encourage our residents to furnish their rooms as they wish. This could be as simple as hanging a couple of their favourite pictures on the wall, but they’re also welcome to bring their own comfy chair or anything that makes them feel at home. The most important thing is for everyone to feel comfortable, happy and settled. All our bedrooms have an en suite toilet and sink and some also enjoy lovely garden views. If your loved one enjoys catching up with the latest news, sport, chat shows, or soaps, there’s a TV in their room, and we have WiFi throughout the home. |

Enjoying every day We support everybody’s individual choices, interests, and hobbies, and our passionate Activity. The coordinator loves keeping residents active and entertained. They provide a fun-packed and stimulating schedule for people to participate in as they choose. There’s baking, flower arranging, arts and crafts, gardening, external entertainers, bingo and quizzes just to mention a few of the things we get up to. Keeping a close eye on our residents’ wellbeing We also provide regular gentle exercise sessions and have close links with GP surgeries, district nurses and dentists. Our in-house hair salon keeps everyone looking their best and weekly visits from a local toddler group keep us all young at heart. Seize the Day We’re committed to helping residents make the most of every single day. Seize The Day is our unique initiative to support residents to fulfill their ambitions and make their dreams come true. Whether it be a ride on ‘The Big One’ at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a trip in a fire engine, or a visit to the swimming pool; we will move mountains to make it happen. Seize the Day is funded by charitable donations and is available to all residents. |
