Meet The Manager

Paula Melut is the Registered Manager at Belle Vue Care Home.

My name is Paula,

I’m 31 years old. I’m married and I have a lovely 7 years old daughter.

I am a Pharmacy Assistant qualified in 2010 and in 2012 I qualified as a Registered Nurse.

In 2014 I decided to move to UK and I started my career as a Registered Nurse.

In 2018 I started to work as a Deputy Manger at Belle Vue Care Home and I was promoted to Home Manger at beginning of this year. I don’t have to many hobbies but I enjoy to spent my time off with my family.

I work alongside a great team, dedicated, well trained, experienced, skilled and competent to provide an excellent standard of care which makes me proud to part of the Belle Vue Team.

There are not many care homes which can boast extensive sea views! Belle Vue Care Home is set in a perfect position to ensure that residents never forget that they are close to the sea and the line of beach huts along the beach. The traditional seaside town of Paignton is reflected in the decoration of the home, which will be further enhanced during the coming redecoration and refurbishment programme, now that the home is under the wing of Harbour Healthcare.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are following the advise of National and Local authorities including Public Health England and our local Infection Control and Prevention team.

All necessary protective equipment will be supplied and visitors may be asked to complete Lateral Flow tests.

Visits will be by appointment only. The Home's team will inform you about what arrangements are in place to keep you, our residents and team members as safe as possible.

Should there be positive cases of COVID in the Home, then visits will not be permitted.

Team members and residents are being tested as per the latest guidelines.

Many thanks for your patience.

There’s plenty going on in this home and we actively encourage residents to continue with lifelong hobbies and interests, whatever they might be. Or alternatively, residents might enjoy trying a new interesting activity. Whichever, or both, the care team as well as the activity team are happy to promote, encourage and attend any activity to ensure that residents have fun and fulfilment in their lives. The aim is to promote stimulation for mind and body as well as general wellbeing. Any new ideas for recreational activities is welcomed! A regular newsletter produced for both residents and their families keep’s everyone in touch with what is going on at Belle Vue.
