Meet The Manager
Sarah Tremlett is Registered Manager at Beacon House.
Sarah has worked in the care sector for 28 years and has been part of Centrum Care Homes for the past five years. As Registered Care Manager at Beacon House, she is passionate about supporting residents and staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, welcoming, and happy environment.
She is dedicated to helping residents live their best lives with compassion and dignity and values the opportunity to learn and grow alongside her team. Sarah finds it a privilege to care for older people and to share in their wisdom and life experiences.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children and their lively dog, making every moment together special.
Nestled in the picturesque heart of Dartmouth, Beacon House offers more than just a place to live — it’s a caring community that embraces both the beauty of its surroundings and the individuality of each resident. With panoramic views over the area and well-appointed accommodation across four floors (with lifts and stair-lifts for ease of movement), Beacon House has been designed to feel welcoming, accessible, and comfortable.
Our priority is personalised, person-centred care, delivered with warmth and respect. Residents enjoy their own dedicated rooms — many with private views — along with freshly prepared meals cooked on-site, access to a resident lounge, and the support of trained, compassionate staff.
Life at Beacon House is vibrant and sociable. We offer a strong programme of activities, ranging from shared social times in communal areas to regular excursions to local attractions using our minibus. Many residents also enjoy the peace of our garden balcony or take relaxing strolls along the scenic Devon coast.
We understand that moving into a care home is a big decision — which is why we strive to build a warm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere where people feel at home, valued, and connected.
