Life at Ashton Lodge is active and engaging, with a varied programme designed to reflect residents’ interests and preferences. Our dedicated activities coordinator works closely with residents and families to create meaningful opportunities for social connection and enjoyment.

Residents are encouraged to remain independent and continue hobbies they enjoy, whether taking part in group activities or spending time with family and friends.

Our secure garden is a popular place to quietly relax with the paper or enjoy the company of others, particularly in summer when residents and families enjoy coffee, drinks and outdoor lunches together. Games and entertainment are a regular part of the outdoor social plan, as is a spot of gardening or bird watching – it is surprising how many varieties we attract.

We also enjoy regular trips into the community, including visits to the seaside, museums, parks, shops and even the races.

Within the home, residents enjoy cinema evenings in our purpose-built cinema room, musical performances and seasonal celebrations. From visiting entertainers to festive events, there is always something to look forward to.
