Ashfield - Care Home
Meet The Manager

Nelly Manole is Care Home Manager at Ashfield.

When I think about care, I picture my own mum or grandmother – how would I want them to be treated? With love, compassion, and deep respect for who they are. That's exactly how I approach every day at Ashfield, where I've been the registered manager since December 2023.

What I love most about South West Care Homes is their unwavering support – not just for me, but for creating positive change for our residents and care team. The feedback from families, staff, and residents truly feeds my soul.

You'll find me visiting with residents daily, staying in close contact with families, and working alongside community professionals to ensure we're delivering the highest quality, person-centered care.

Nelly Manole

Ashfield is a residential home situated in the beautiful seaside resort of Exmouth on the South East coast of Devon. Just on Windsor Square, Ashfield is close to the heart of Exmouth, and is a former townhouse dating back to Edwardian times.
There is a warm and friendly care team in the home 24 hours a day delivering tailored and person-centred care to each individual allowing flexibility and choice. The home is able to accommodate those who require residential care and care for those who are living with dementia.

Ashfield can offer both permanent placements and shorter respite breaks for those who may have families going on holiday or who would benefit from some TLC. Understanding that moving into a care home can be a daunting time, and an extremely hard decision to make, there is flexibility around respite stays for those who wish to try a shorter break prior to making their final decision.
