Meet The Manager

Chris Durnan is Home Manager at Ash Tree House.

Chris started working in care when he was just 16 and has progressed in his career since then.  His heart lies in working with the elderly and he has devised and piloted many schemes and packages to assist older people to live as independently as possible.

Chris joined the Ash Tree House family in 2018 and has already made many great improvements including the addition of a market square with a shop, cafe area, post office, flower stall and snack station for residents to enjoy. He has a wealth of experience to bring to the home and is open to ideas, suggestions and feedback from residents, families and staff alike.  Chris operates an open door policy and is always available for a cuppa and a chat.

Chris has three children and follows Leeds United FC in his spare time.
