Summerville House is beautifully located in the heart of Heacham, offering a peaceful and tranquil setting where residents can truly live life to the full. With award-winning beaches and breathtaking sunsets just moments away, Heacham provides the perfect backdrop for retirement living.
At Summerville House, comfort, companionship, and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do. Directly outside our home, residents can enjoy the simple pleasure of watching horses, Shetland ponies, and even the occasional donkey in the nearby field—a daily joy that adds to the warm and homely atmosphere.
Life here is filled with opportunities to feel valued and connected. From pamper days and musical afternoons to visits from hairdressers, chiropodists, and other trusted professionals, we make sure every resident feels cared for and part of our family. With the full support of the district nursing team, expert medical care is always on hand whenever it is needed.
We specialise in dementia care and in supporting residents with complex needs, but above all, we recognise that every individual is unique. That’s why we take time to carry out a detailed assessment before anyone moves in—understanding personal preferences, health requirements, and routines so we can provide truly personalised care.
Whether you’re seeking day care, respite breaks, holiday stays, or long-term living, our focus is on creating a safe, supportive, and happy environment where every day can be enjoyed.
And of course, no description of Summerville House would be complete without mentioning the famous Heacham sunsets. Picture-postcard perfect, the evening sky reflects across the water in golden, crimson, and silver-blue hues—moments of beauty that our residents treasure and that perfectly capture the spirit of life here: peaceful, vibrant, and full of meaning.
