Activities Are So Important

Both Downs House and Stroud House have Activity Co-Ordinators who work hard to ensure that residents enjoy themselves whatever their individual circumstances or challenges and to this end a range of varied activities are organised. They can also provide some one to one support for those unable to join in group activities. We aim to provide at least one activity every day.

Also popular are the regular outings, with visits to a wide variety of places of interest, theatre shows, historical sites, pub lunches, local attractions and much more. With our own minibuses, helpful carers and wheelchairs always on hand, it is possible for all residents to join in and enjoy the opportunities available.
