Vicky Parsons is The Home Manager at The Spinney Care Home.

Vicky joined The Spinney in 2017 having retrained in Health and Social care, after a successful career in law. Driven by her own experience of caring for her father living with dementia, Vicky explains that: “I truly understand the challenges families and individuals face following a dementia diagnosis. It’s an honour to create new positive experiences for them here at The Spinney.”

Vicky’s warmth and compassion shines throughout our happy home. She loves spending time with residents’ and their families, whilst supporting all of our team to provide loving care for everyone who lives with us.

The Spinney is a warm, comfortable and loving home environment, which makes life enjoyable and engaging for all residents, whatever their interests and personal preferences.

The home is within walking distance to Chingford town centre, so many residents continue to enjoy being part of their local community doing the things in life they always have. The home overlooks the oldest golf course in Essex, Chingford Golf Course which has been there since 1886, offering residents wonderful country-style views over the course.
