Kristina Jacunskiene is Home Manager at Sherwood Grange.
The team and I consider it a huge privilege to care for older people and are proud that their families trust us to care for them.
This is a lovely friendly and happy home, with a great family atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you here soon.
Our ‘outstanding’ rated care home in Kingston Vale, London, provides quality care in stunning surroundings. The experienced team delivers round-the-clock residential care as well as dementia care for people living with the early stages of this condition.
Every resident has their own beautifully furnished en-suite bedroom. The in-house coffee shop is the hub of the home; there’s a cinema and a hair salon, plus plenty of garden space for residents to grow vegetables and flowers. In fact we hold regular competitions with residents to see who can grow the best produce!

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. I’ve worked in different areas of nursing, including caring for people with complex disabilities and brain injuries. I believe it’s important to be open and honest, and to have empathy and compassion in this role. I work as part of the team to ensure residents are always receiving the best, personalised care. I love making individual residents smile – we can all make a difference to a person’s day. ![]() Richard HarveyCustomer Relations ManagerI worked in the printing industry for 40 years. When I was made redundant during the pandemic, I was keen to make a difference to people’s lives and give something back, which brought me to Sherwood Grange. ![]() Kimberley AtkinLifestyle CoordinatorMy background is in retail and fashion, and I’ve been able to bring my creative thinking and sense of fun directly into my role at Sherwood Grange. Every day is so varied, which is fantastic, and I enjoy working on group activities with residents, as well as with them on a one-to-one basis, when I can get to learn more about them. Rick, the manager here, ensures that every day here is full of fun for everyone. He also has the foresight to recognise your skills and strengths, even if you haven’t worked in care before. He gives you the freedom to take a role in different directions and explore different approaches. |
