Meet The Manager

Vivienne Conway is Manager at Rosedene Residential Care Home.

Vivienne has worked in the care industry for over 30 years and owned Rosedene Residential home for 14 years.

A truly special atmosphere exists at Rosedene Residential Care Home, where the utmost care is taken to provide a home-from-home. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for all our residents and visitors.

Rosedene is a detached house close to the sea and promenade. It has been a privately owned care home for over 25 years. Our qualified and dedicated staff provide compassionate, respectful and professional care, paying attention to individual needs and preferences.

Each person’s needs are carefully identified and care plans are developed in order to maintain and improve the well-being of the residents.  This plan is regularly reviewed to identify any changing needs and to ensure that a consistent and appropriate level of care is provided at all times. We work alongside other medical services to ensure the best possible package of care and support is available to every resident.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We have strict infection control policies in place, which include PPE, hand hygiene and cleaning. We have CCTV located around the outside of the building and in communal areas. We have a comprehensive training programme for all of our staff. We undertake detailed risk assessments and have clear emergency protocols in place. We do not use agency staff, so this ensures our residents get to know the people who care for them.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Our Building and Facilities

Across the home, there are four separate lounges, each offering something a little different. All have televisions, but each room has its own feel — one cosy, one bright, one quiet, one more sociable. This choice means residents can always find a space that suits their mood, whether they want company, a peaceful corner or simply a change of scene. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference to daily comfort.
