Meet The Manager

Marie Sharp is Home Manager at Roberttown Care Home.

With over 35 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, Marie brings extensive expertise across a range of specialist areas, including elderly care, dementia, EMI, nursing, brain injuries, learning disabilities, and domiciliary care.


Her true passion lies in care and nursing homes, where she has proudly served as a Registered Manager for 28 years.


Born and raised in Huddersfield, Marie is delighted to be the Home Manager at Roberttown, leading her team with compassion, experience, and dedication.



Outside of work, Marie loves spending time with her family and especially enjoys doting on her beautiful grandson – she’s a very proud Nana!

A short distance from the M62 and within easy reach of pretty nearby villages, Roberttown Care Home in Liversedge overlooks the open fields of Hartshead. Our dedicated and compassionate care and support teams provide care for people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and a range of other needs.

Roberttown Care Home overlooks the open fields where cattle graze. Residents in the bedrooms at the back of the home can enjoy incredible panoramic views of the unspoiled countryside. We also have a landscaped garden with a fishpond, which provides the perfect spot for residents to relax and enjoy the fresh air. 

The light, spacious conservatory-style lounge lets residents take in the scenery year-round, and when the sun is out, we like to stage activities in the garden.

Activities Are So Important

Residents can benefit from a full activity plan that incorporates suggestions from everyone at our home. We run armchair yoga, have strong ties with local community groups, including the Liversedge parish church, local children and villagers. We help residents who want to attend classes at the community centre, or coffee mornings, or knit and natter. It’s a wonderful place to live, and residents can make the most of the close-knit community.

For those who may struggle with confidence or prefer quieter pursuits, we can provide one-to-one activities.
