Meet The Manager

Fiona Wiederkehr is Care Home Manager at Rectory House Nursing Home.

As the Home Manager at Rectory House Nursing Home, I lead a professional team in providing the highest standards of residential and nursing care for up to 41 residents.

I qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1986 and have worked in a number of specialities for nearly 30 years. In 2009 I started part time Higher Education studies and qualified as a sign off mentor for student nurses in 2010, a practice teacher in 2011 and as a qualified teacher of Health Education in 2013. In 2015 I moved into management after successfully getting my first Care Home Manager position.

I am passionate about developing and supporting a team of staff who work well together creating a home where everyone feels part of a family. It is important that high standards of care are delivered in a kind and caring manner, with laughter in the home offering a warm, friendly and homely environment.
