Caroline Monaghan-Fox is Registered Care Home Manager at Poplars Care Home.
After completing a Psychology degree I worked in a variety of support roles working with people with mental ill health and worked my way up to Registered Manager. I have had 16 years of experience in this role in a variety of residential settings with different client groups and have also area-managed residential and supported living services.
It is a huge responsibility to be entrusted with your loved ones and it is my aim that their experience of care is fun, safe and person-centered achieved via an established and well-trained care team who absolutely have the right values for the job.
Poplars has been providing quality residential care for both long-term and respite residents since 1996. The home is located off Ruislip High Street.
It currently has 27 residents in single en-suite rooms. It was formerly ‘The Poplars’ tea room and consists of two Victorian detached houses linked by a modern extension.

Poplars Care Home is working within the government guidelines to help protect its staff and clients. The Home's Director was the Infection Control lead for Hillingdon Care Homes during the COVID outbreak, collating and leading best practice to keep residents, staff and visitors safe. We continue to keep ourselves up to date with effective infection control procedures especially during the winter flu season. Please don't be alarmed if staff wear masks - they are to keep them safe so they can carry out their outstanding work. We encourage handwashing for all visitors with our facilities by our reception area. |
