Meet The Manager

Phillippa Bailey is General Manager at Newlands Care Home.

Joining the Newlands team in September 2025 as General Manager, Phillippa combines her extensive knowledge, skills, and senior management experience, across Newlands nursing home and the retirement community. Philippa’s nursing journey started in Oxford, and she has now been a Registered General Nurse for over 35 years.

It was her appetite for nursing that led Phillippa into the care community, where she has loved the variety the sector brings. Her role means that no two days are the same, each brings with it, new opportunities, her goal is to always make a difference to residents’ lives.

A great innovator, Phillippa is continually learning and growing, her passion is creating environments where residents feel truly cared for. She is always seeking new ways to improve care and make a meaningful difference; and above all to see her residents smile.
