Meet The Manager

Amy Stokes is Care Home Manager at Michaelstowe.

I have many years of experience within the health and social care sector, joining South West Care Homes in 2007 as a Night Care Assistant.

With the support of South West Care Homes, I have worked my way through the company and now hold the position of Registered Manager at Michaelstowe, which is situated in Plympton.

All who come to live at Michaelstowe are always at the forefront of everything we do and aim to achieve. We maintain a dignified, person-centered approach and focus on each person’s abilities and support them to achieve this each day.

Over the years at Michaelstowe we have introduced a freshly home cooked menu, all bedrooms are personal to each individual and their environment is set up in a way which makes it warm and homely, whilst keeping safety in mind.

We have a very open and honest approach and maintain very good relationships with Professionals supporting Michaelstowe.
