Welcome to Melton House, which opened in January 2016. Situated within the delightful Melton Park area of Gosforth, offering stunning views directly across the Newcastle Racecourse. Our new 67 bed care home provides luxurious facilities within a spacious, modern and welcoming environment presented over 3 floors.

Our larger Premier bedrooms offer unrivalled views across the racecourse and of the famous Brandling House Stand beyond which on the many race days during the year is filled with lively and excited race goers eager for a full programme of racing action.

There are also plenty of open and spacious communal areas on each floor for use by residents and their families including TV lounges, dining rooms, activity and games rooms, cinema room, as well as quiet rooms for reading and relaxing. The home also includes a hair dressing salon.

Residents and their families can make full use of our secure and landscaped sensory garden providing full wheelchair access and seating areas, as well as the enclosed roof top garden which provides spectacular views of both the racecourse and golf course directly adjoining the home.

Description

Each of our spacious bedrooms include full en-suite facilities, and are also equipped with specialist beds, high quality bespoke fitted furniture, LCD televisions, and free and unlimited internet access. For the well-being of our residents we have included within each bedroom the emergency Telecare call system, together with state of the art lighting to ease movement within the room at any time of the day. We also believe in giving each resident plenty of scope to make their room look and feel as their own, and in doing so help them to make Melton House their home.
