Our philosophy is simple- our residents and their families are at the heart of our care homes

Our family values have been at the heart of Country Court Care since 1983, they underpin our vision, shape our culture and guide our conduct and relationships with our colleagues, residents, families and our suppliers.

“WeCare” depicts our family values which underpins our vision to be recognised in the industry as a leading care provider and who can and will influence positive changes in the sector. Our staff see “WeCare” within our homes, our training, our communications and our end to end employee life-cycle.

We have no rivals when it comes to upholding family values and principles:

-Focus on treating all residents as individuals, with compassion and dignity

-Encouraging an active social life within the home and the local community

-Promoting a "dining experience" with award winning food and drink, where residents are in charge

-Bespoke, tasteful furnishings and fittings, meticulously designed with residents in mind

-Small gestures make a big difference - whether it's an anniversary or a birthday, we will make the day special.

The Importance Of Meal Times

We pay special attention to the quality and variety of all menus in our care homes, where residents make the choices. All meals are prepared daily onsite by our highly trained cooks and any individual needs, likes and dislikes are thoroughly catered for. Our care and nursing homes in Sheffield, London, Peterborough and other locations provide good, wholesome food and ensure that any special dietary requirements are easily taken care of. On top of all this, drinks and snacks are freely available 24 hours a day. If this all sounds too tempting, visitors are always welcome to stay for a meal.

We ensure our residents look forward to meal times every single day, we do this by ensuring every meal is plated with care for our residents, tables are set for every meal and dining rooms are clean and welcoming. Our chefs work with the care teams to understand the preferences and needs of each individual resident and create wholesome and nutritious dishes to five star restaurant standards.

We regularly ask for feedback from both residents and their families, taking onboard comments and suggestions to continuously improve our menus. Our front of house teams are on hand to ensure residents are served with drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Activities Are So Important

Our nursing homes have Wellbeing and Activities coordinators to encourage and facilitate residents to choose daily activities which have the simple objective to encourage social interaction and stimulation. These activities are designed as to improve the variety in residents' daily lives, introduce new skills and enable residents to discover new passions.

All of Country Court Care's homes have developed very strong ties with their local community. We always encourage local people to attend events at the homes, as well as encouraging residents to join in the fun.

Residents at Marling Court are encouraged to stay purposeful and active with a wide range of activities to take part in. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time.
