The home is split into two specialist areas completely self contained with their own bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and dining areas. Within these two areas specialist and separate teams provide the very best in residential care and specialist dementia care. A recent and extensive renovation of the home has seen significant investment on the environment which has improved the quality of their daily lives even further. Tickford Abbey is a stunning Grade II listed building with a lot of character and charm. The home is located on the original site of a medieval Tickford Priory. To find out more about the rich history of the care home visit History of Tickford Abbey. Everybody that sees it for the first time instantly falls in love with it. The care home has individually designed bedrooms and the exceptional outdoor space as well as the comfortable communal areas. It truly is one of the most positive care homes to live in the Buckinghamshire area. A 1950s reminiscence room offers a relaxing space with views of the garden. There is a TV lounge, a conservatory, with space to dine or relax, as well as an activity centre and cinema room. The main reception offers a ‘plaza’ style space with tables and chairs to enjoy the morning papers over a coffee. |
