Beth Mill is The Home Manager at Limetree House Upper Poppleton.
Beth has worked in the care sector since leaving school, she has been the Registered Manager at Limetree House since October 2017. Beth is passionate about our residents and ensuring they receive the best care they can, and lead happy and as independent lives as possible, promoting equality, choice, dignity and respect.
We are situated opposite the village green in the small pretty village of Upper Poppleton York with local facilities all to hand.
With 26 comfortable and well appointed rooms, you’ll soon feel right at home. Each room has personalised styling and we’d love you to bring your treasured mementos and small items of furniture to make it even more homely.
In the lounge we have a café style area where you are welcome to go with your guests.
TV and music is available in the lounge along with DVD’s and magazines.
If you prefer the outdoors you’ll find numerous peaceful and quiet sitting areas within the garden with tables, chairs and sunshades to enable you to enjoy the garden in both spring and summer.
Meal times are something to savour at Limetree House, especially with the fine cuisine served up by our Chef. You can look forward to meals freshly prepared in fine Yorkshire tradition and served in our dining room or your own room - whichever you prefer.
If you have any special dietary requirements, don’t worry - we’ll be happy to cater for them.
We want your life with us to be as enjoyable and care free as possible. Relaxing couldn’t be easier with our homely lounge and sitting rooms.

You can take part in as many of our planned activities as you wish or the manager will even create new activities tailored to suit your own hobbies and interests if you’d like.
Our staff are highly qualified and you’ll have the reassurance of our central nurse call system to immediately summon a member of staff should you ever need any assistance, any time of the day or night.
All staff members are committed to maintaining your dignity and independence and providing you with high standards of personal care in a supportive friendly and homely atmosphere.
It is our AIM that those who live in Limetree House should do so with dignity, have the respect of those who support them and be entitled to live a full and active life, given the fundamental right to self-determination and individuality.
