As Home Manager I am in charge of the quality of care we deliver. I am proud to be responsible for everything that I and my team do. Managing Layston Grove is both challenging and rewarding as I have to ensure our high standards are met and we deliver our promise of providing the best care, every day to every one.
Layston Grove is located in the beautiful historic town of Buntingford in the district of East Hertfordshire. Buntingford is Hertfordshire’s smallest town making it small enough to feel like a village and retaining a strong community for all who live here.
Our staff are equipped with the latest technology enabling them to view and update care records instantly; allowing them to devote more of their time to listen and respond to your needs. Our friendly, well-trained staff understand that every individual has different needs, therefore we take the extra time to get to know your likes, dislikes, passions and hobbies. In doing this we can support and care for you in the best and most comfortable way. We can also accommodate those seeking short term respite.
The home operates an all inclusive policy and the fees reflect this, there are no extra charges.

One Spray Surface sanitiser used in all the homes after every 25 days (put a protection layer for 30 days). Regular Infection Control Themed Supervision with all the team members, monthly infection control audit, spillage kits available in each floor for body fluids, D&V procedure, and guidance available in each floor for team. Halcyon colour coded policy in place for mops to avoid any spread of infection. In depth training for all the team members via eLearning portal and face to face by our IPC lead in each home. |

Our purpose-built home is expertly designed around residential and dementia care. Expert touches include “line of sight” architecture, making it easier for you to get around, providing reassurance that staff can easily see you and are always at hand. As we build our homes from scratch, we are able to invest in the latest technology and materials to ensure they are optimally equipped for now and the future, transforming the way our care is managed and delivered. |

Alicia is both determined and hardworking and, having never previously worked in a caring environment, she has learned quickly and become a welcome smile in both homes. Alicia enjoys spending time getting to know the residents and ensuring the team and our residents are full of positivity. Arvind has been a part of the hospitality industry since 2003, mostly working in top-class hotels in India and London before making a move to Care Home Sector.
