Karen Baker is Manager at Jackmans Lodge.
Karen has worked in Health & Social Care for forty years, working with older people, dementia, end of life & learning disabilities. She has a certificate in Management and a degree in Business.
Jackmans Lodge is a small, family-oriented home in the heart of Woking, somewhere residents are well repected and included in daily life. Our stable, long-serving team—including a manager and senior carers have 10+ years working at Jackmans Lodge. They are familiar faces around the home, providing hands-on personal care. We hold the Gold Standards Framework Platinum Award for end-of-life and advanced care, have excellent Local Authority inspection outcomes, and are rated “Good” by the CQC across the board. Our smaller size means higher staffing ratios and quicker, more meaningful interactions that build trust and reduce loneliness. We invest in our people with ongoing training, mentoring and wellbeing, ensuring consistent, reliable care. With 20+ years of compassionate, consistent service, Jackmans Lodge is a place where residents feel safe, valued and at home
