Kim Howard
Administrator Manager

Hello, I’m Kim. I have been the Administration Manager at Holmwood for 18 years and have previously worked in Personnel Admin before taking time off to have a family.

I enjoy working in an environment that is challenging and rewarding, which is why I love Holmwood! The residents are wonderful here and I love being a part of their lives every day. There is a good team at Holmwood with quite a few members of staff who have been here for a number of years. This makes for a solid base for our work at Holmwood.

I look forward to continuing in my role and ensuring that Holmwood is a happy home for everyone.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my family.

Wendy Hobbins
Wendy Hobbins
Lifestyle Coordinator

I have always shown my caring side even as a girl when I used to do errands to the local shop for my elderly neighbours at the age of fourteen. I always knew that I would work within a care setting. The opportunity arose to work at Holmwood and I grasped it with both hands. I have worked at Holmwood for fifteen years now and have loved every minute, no two days are the same! I have met so many wonderful people here and have seen so many positive changes within the care sector. I love what I do and know that each day is special to those I meet and care for.

The best part of my role is being able to make a difference to our residents’ lives. It may be during an activity, a sense of achievement or a smile, laugh or a few kind words of reassurance to make someone feel special within our Holmwood family.

Head of Housekeeping

Before progressing to Head of Housekeeping at Holmwood, I was a laundry assistant for over 2 years. I always enjoyed my position at this care home and was keen to progress!

I have a fantastic team, staff and residents are always smiling and supporting each other.
Every day is unique and rewarding. I will be happy to stay here for a long time!
