We have screened visiting pods and are facilitating in room visits for up to five designated visitors per resident subject to negative LFT tests.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

The Importance Of Meal Times

Our decicated team of three Chartered Institute of Environmental Health trained cooks prepare a variety of delicious and nutritious meals that will have your loved one eagerly anticipating every meal time. Ingredients are sourced locally, freshly prepared daily and served in our spacious airy conservatory dining room. This is the hub of the home and everyone looks forward to both the food and the chance to have a natter and a catch up with friends and staff members.

If your loved one has special dietary requirements we'll make sure they're accommodated and there are always alternatives if ever they don't like something that's on the day's menu. Similarly, although the catering team take great care to ensure everything is fresh, your loved one can have whatever they want (so don't worry about that special hankering for Angel Delight or Heinz Cream of Tomato, it's no problem!).

You can also rest assured that all the food is prepared in the safest, most hygienic environment since Hoar Cross continues to maintain its long held 5 Star food hygiene rating.

A balanced, nutritious diet is essential to maintaining health and wellbeing, our carers can prepare all types of meals for our residents, taking likes and dislikes into consideration
