Kirsty Harris is Home Manager at Aarandale Manor.
"I now have 26 years of experience in the care sector. Initially starting as a care provider whilst having a break from education, I fell in love with healthcare, so much so that I decided to become full-time and knew this was where my career path lay. This was also due to my own mother being diagnosed with dementia at 52 years old and having this for 20 years!
I have worked in senior positions at various residential and nursing homes, specialising in stroke, palliative care, and motor neuron disease and becoming a champion in these specific conditions. I am proud to say I am registered as a Nursing home manager and will continue to do all I can to provide a good quality of life to all those I care for."

The home offers a range of communal facilities such as a beautiful fully stocked bar and bistro cafe, large lounges plus cinema facilities, dining rooms, and smaller quiet rooms or family lounges which can even be suitable for private dining. All areas are easily accessible with large lifts to support movement between floors. Our home has a spacious, flat level landscaped garden with beautiful colourful plants and a barbecue area as well as many seating areas for the enjoyment of residents and their guests. We employ full-time maintenance and housekeeping staff on the premises and our continued investment ensures high standards and a clean and safe environment. |
