Meet The Manager

Nikki Martin is The Home Manager at Heathfield Court Care Home.

Nikki began her inspirational career in care back in 1988 and joined Heathfield Court as a senior carer in 2018, a year after we opened. Showing a natural flair for person-centred care, Nikki’s talent was quickly recognised, as she progressed to a team leader, then later head of care.

Nikki’s dedication, passion and unwavering ability to bring joy to others, shone through year after year, and it wasn’t long before she took on the role of deputy manager. She even chose to move into Heathfield Court during the early days of the pandemic, to provide care and reassurance to our residents and wider team.

A graduate of our Management Academy, Nikki excelled in our training programme for aspiring leaders in 2021. Throughout this time, she was personally mentored by Carebase business manager and former home manager Gina Kitchenham. Nikki became Heathfield Court’s registered home manager in 2023.

Nikki Martin

At Heathfield Court, we provide award-winning, residential, nursing and dementia care, with love and kindness.

Our skilled and experienced team focuses on gaining a deep understanding of each of our treasured residents, alongside their medical and physical needs to enable them to live happy and fulfilled lives. We also seek to establish meaningful positive relationships with residents’ loved ones, involving them in life at our home.

There is a varied schedule of stimulating, person-centred activities to suit all interests and abilities, and residents are supported to maintain links with the local community, enjoying frequent minibus outings to local places of interest.

Heathfield Court is a beautiful, stylish home decorated and furnished to a high standard of comfort. Our facilities support choice and independence for residents and enable families to enjoy spending quality time together; whether celebrating in the private dining room, taking tea on the terrace, or walking the home’s affectionate rescue dogs, Trixie and Lulu.

We appreciate that many families cope alone for some time before considering a long-term care option. The day care and respite services offered provide an opportunity for family carers to have a break whilst their loved one gets to experience all that Heathfield Court has to offer.

As part of our commitment to providing high-quality care, our team receives extensive on-going training, professional development and guidance.

In 2023, Heathfield Court was voted among the Top 10 care homes in London by carehome.co.uk, for the second-time. We were also a Regional Finalist for the Putting People First Award in the Great British Care Awards 2023.
