Sara was born and raised in Bristol and is an LD Nurse specialist with 35 years experience and 31 years as a home manager. She is an animal lover having 2 dogs and 3 cats of her own along with the 2 cats, numerous fish tanks and budgie at Hartcliffe.

Located in a peaceful residential area, Hartcliffe has easy access to local attractions like Hartcliffe City Farm and Hengrove Park. Inside, the lively lounge is a social hub where residents enjoy music, conversation, arts and crafts, movie nights, and more.

Undergoing a £450,000 refurbishment in 2018, Hartcliffe Nursing Home provides care for up to 65 older people in Bristol.

Hartcliffe is community-focused care home, and we have taken care to create an environment where our residents and day centre members can thrive.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and residents also have access to spacious communal lounges, seating areas and dining rooms. Our talented Hospitality Team provide a range of delicious hot and cold meals everyday and our Activities Co-ordinator organises a range of events including coffee mornings, shopping trips and excursions.

Our Activities Co-ordinator organises a range of events including coffee mornings, shopping trips and excursions.

Spiritual needs vary as we each experience wellbeing and fulfilment in different ways. That’s why, at Hartcliffe, we offer so many opportunities to foster relationships and positive experiences – from developing new skills and fulfilling personal ambitions to creative pursuits and trips out.

MHA regards physical and spiritual needs with equal importance. We are committed to providing alternative therapies such as reflexology, which do much to enhance the well-being of residents, while our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all at Hartcliffe, whatever their background and beliefs.

Funded through charitable support, every MHA care home also prides itself in being able to offer unique and memorable opportunities and activities for residents to quite literally help them 'seize the day'.
