Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. | Activities Are So Important |

We are very proud of our beautiful terrace and the busy team of resident gardeners who keep it looking wonderful all year round. Special care is taken over the topiary animals which, along with the shrubs and flowers, raised beds, bird feeders, chimes and herb planters are focal points of home life. Grandstand views of rugby are thrown in! But that’s by no means all. Our team of Activity Coordinators make sure there is something for everyone to be involved with, even if their fingers are not particularly green. For instance:
We believe it benefits everyone’s well-being to be active and mentally stimulated, so there is something going on every day, with a choice of activities on each floor. We make use of reminiscence and sensory-based activities for residents in our Memory Care Suite; visits from local schools, musical entertainers and speakers who talk on a wide range of subjects keep everyone happy. We do our best to support any particular interests residents have, and we make best use of our minibus which gets us out and about to local places of interest. It’s a great way to make new friends. |
