Head Chef

I have worked at Grosvenor House for 3 years and in the catering industry since I was 17 years old.

In my working career I have had the opportunity of both integrating in a front of house manner with the public and also behind the scenes preparing and designing original and nutritious menus. Grosvenor House I am delighted to say fulfills both of these passions and hence provides me with immense job satisfaction.

Judith Cooper
Judith Cooper
Activity Coordinator

I started working at Grosvenor House as a volunteer in May 2018, I enjoyed meeting the residents and learning all about them through listening to their interesting life stories. I became the Activity Coordinator in August 2018 when the post became available.

I get immense job satisfaction by seeing the residents smile which they do a lot of with the activities I have arranged for them which are resident led. This year we are planning to make the activities even better and more enjoyable for both residents and their families.

Care Supervisor

I started working in Grosvenor House 16 years ago as a care assistant and progressed to a senior carer position and since gained promotion to a care supervisor 18 months ago.

I enjoy working at Grosvenor House and it has become a second family to me. The residents have seen my children grow up and my children love visiting and chatting with the residents.

On a personal level Grosvenor House has supported me in my career choice and progression.

The key reason I stay here is due to the fact that we work hard as a team and build a compassionate relationship with residents and families.

I started working in care as a care assistant in 2011, since then I have completed my NVQ 2,3 and 5 to gain progression.

My dream job as a Deputy Manager by the sea came up in April 2016 and have been here since. I feel that I am part of a great family. Grosvenor House is a lovely home where the residents receive person-centred care.
